Workshops are 30 minutes long and take place on Saturdays between 3-4pm

Stage 1: up to 15 learners per group (£60 per term)   
Stage2: up to 6 learners per group (£90 per term)

The Piano Cats scheme was created for 4-7 year olds who want to learn the piano with fun as the key element.

The children’s interest is captured by story-lines centering on animal characters with magic mats, musical ghosts, an invasion of mice and how giraffes catch cold:

•       Will Daddy Cat get the hat he wants?

•       Will he survive a terrible plunge to the bottom of the pond?

•       How will the Elephant family escape the mice that are overrunning them?

Children learn the geography of the keyboard and how to use their hands and fingers so that they can play simple patterns with facility, ease and enjoyment.  Reading is at a level suitable for the very young.
